THE KING'S LEAGUE will travel 1 weekend in each City.

16 teams from each City will participate and try to be the KINGS of the City!
The Replica Trophy of PREMIER League will be on showcase at the event apart from some fun games and a lot of Bud 0.0!

Rules

Common Rules

  • Squad of 9 players (5+4)
  • Two halves of 15 minutes each
  • 5 Minutes between both halves
  • No slide tackles
  • No throw-ins, only kick-ins
  • No goal kicks, goalkeeper has to throw the ball out at all times
  • All free kicks are indirect
  • A distance of 3 steps have to be maintained by the defenders while a free kick is being taken
  • Reporting time is 45 minutes before kick-off time. Players cannot be added after team sheet is submitted

Disciplinary

  • 2 yellow cards in a match result in a red card and a ban in the current match
  • A straight red card in a match results in a 1-match ban
  • All cards get carried forward to the knock out stage
  • Off the ball incidents that the referee misses will be reviewed by the match in-charge and bans can be levied depending on the severity of the offense
  • Abusing or arguing with the referee, team members, opponents, match in-charges, organizers and audience will result in a minimum of 1 match ban or higher depending on the severity of the offense
  • Physical violence or trying to harm any player, team member, opponent, organizer, match in-charge or audience member will result in a straight ban for the entire tournament

Point System

  • A win gives you 3 points, a draw 1 point
  • In case of 2 teams being on equal number of points, Goal Difference (GD) will be used to determine who goes through
  • In case of teams being on equal number of points and Goal Difference (GD) cannot give us a clear winner then:
    (a) Goals scored will be seen.
    (b) If goals scored is also same, goals conceded will be seen.
    (c) If goals conceeded is also same then a penalty shootout (sudden death) will decide the winner.
  • 4 groups of 4 teams each. Each team plays the other 3 teams once. The winner of the group qualifies for the semi-finals.

Penalty Kicks

  • If there is no clear winner after 30 minutes of the game in the knockout stages, then both teams shall have 5 penalty kicks
  • These 5 players can be anyone from the match squad
  • If a clear winner cannot be determined even after 5 penalty kicks, then sudden death penalty kicks will take place
  • Both teams will have equal number of penalty takers
  • If everyone has taken a penalty kick and there is still no clear winner then the penalty takers will be repeated in the order which they took the first set of penalty kicks
  • 3 steps distance is allowed to take a penalty kick in a regular game or penalty shootout
